Dan Nanamkin - Canoes

In 2016 the plateau tribes of the Pacific Northwest embarked on a historic and sacred journey back to our historic trading grounds of Kettle Falls. This amazing journey was captured on the film/documentary United By Water. This was made possible by the UCUT (Upper Columbia United Tribes) organization and the generosity of the Quinault Nation. Since then, the River Warriors have continued journeys along our ancestral waterways and into Canada. We have supported environmental causes that effect our sacred waterways. Our canoes were at Standing Rock in support of Water Is Life.  The canoes are a way to help encourage our culture to become stronger, as well our bond with our fellow tribesmen and all who stand for clean drinking Water and Mother Earth. Look for our River Warriors group page on Facebook to see what we are up to next.
